मनजीत गटावर सक्रीय झाल्यापासून गटावरील सगळेच "संगीतप्रेमी" एकदम जागरूक झाले आहेत.उदयच्या रोजच्या अप्रतिम गीतांना इतके दिवस मनातल्या मनात "दाद" देणारे आता चक्क संगीतावर भाष्य करू लागले आहेत.ही आनंदाची गोष्ट आहे.शांतारामने कवितेत म्हटल्याप्रमाणे "दिलकी खिचडी पकाये मंजीत दिलवाला" या खिचडीत "साधू वाणी डाले पानी और मिर्च मसाला" या काव्यपंक्तीप्रमाणे आज "Manjit's Manjinopathy - धमार" सादर करतो.

"धमार(Dhamar)"

1.Another type of composition in the Dhrupad genre is dhamar (which may come from the word for "frolic" or "merriment").

2.In contrast to dhrupad, which are very serious, dhamar are romantic folk compositions on the theme of Krishna and Radha playing Holi that were adapted to the style of Dhrupad.

3.They are set to the 14-beat Dhamar-taal rhythm cycle and have a lighter presentation style than  dhrupad compositions.

4.A dhamar is usually presented at the end of a Dhrupad performance.
