वरवर "हिंदू-ख्रिश्चन धार्मिक संघर्षा" चे स्वरूप धारण केलेल्या मणिपूर संघर्षाला रोज नवनवीन आयाम प्राप्त होत आहेत.जयाने पाठवलेला "खनिज संपत्ती" चा व "आदिवासी शोषणा" च्या ताज्या आयामाबद्दल तुम्हाला सांगीतले.चंदूने सांगीतलेले "अफूशेतीचे अर्थकारण" व त्यात असलेला म्यानमारच्या "अतिरेक्यांचा सहभाग" कानावर आल्याने त्यांचा अभ्यास केला.तो पण सांगीतला.आज चंदूने "Meitei Manipuri - Hindu Vaishnav" यांचा प्राचीन इतिहास सांगीतला आहे.म्हणून खोलात जाऊन त्याचा अभ्यास केला.

1.Meitei people, popularly known as Manipuri people, is the largest ethnic group of Manipur (endonym: Kangleipak) of Northeast India. They speak Meitei language (officially known as “Manipuri language”), one of the 22 officially recognized languages of the Indian Republic.

2.Meitei people is the only ethnicity in Manipur that has its own writing system. So, Meitei people, of course, had their long written history, in the forms of stone inscriptions and manuscripts.

3.Meitei people are indigenous to Manipur. The land of Kangleipak (present day Manipur of Northeast India) was ruled by many Meitei rulers of different dynasties since Ancient Kangleipak.

4.Right from 33 AD until the British annexation of Manipur, kings of the Ningthouja dynasty  predominantly ruled the realm.
